| This one is more than just an airplane story... |
Life is not only unpredictable, it's weird.
So, I'm sitting at a table, having lunch, between two highly capable Navy aviators.
One was a Medal of Honor recipient, the other was an aircraft carrier commander and Blue Angel pilot.
Interesting conversation, of course!
However. At the end of the table was a middle-aged Vietnamese man who never served in the military, nor did he have any connection with aviation. He was a refugee from South Vietnam, and remembered (even though he was a little boy at the time) the "Fall of Saigon."
Being a History Geek, I've learned how the-dots-of-life get connected.
This story might end up taking a couple years to sort out... the airplane will get finished much sooner though.
But, all three lives have intersected and guess who gets to be in the middle!
